The hospital used 56 beds from the Infectious Diseases Department to serve its dengue patients. These patients who are in critical conditions due to dengue fever were transferred from nearby districts. This move is to prevent overcrowding at Children's Hospital 1 and Children's Hospital 2. Hồ Chí Minh City has had more than 10,500 cases since the beginning of the year. Four patients have already died because of the illness.
