According to the latest data, the city's total tourism revenue in the first six months exceeded 3.38 billion USD, up over 62% compared to the same period last year.
In June alone, the city contributed nearly 250,000 international arrivals to the total of 1.9 million in the first half of the year, which is an increase of 306% over the same period last year.
Tourists from South Korea, India, ASEAN countries, the US, and Australia still account for the majority of international arrivals to HCMC. Meanwhile, the city has maintained a stable growth rate for the domestic tourist market at 48%.
