Mentioning the US President’s bún chả dinner in Hanoi, the Telegraph commented that “If it's good enough for Barack Obama, clearly he's well aware of the city's culinary prowess.” The Telegraph article also recommends eating like a local and taking to the streets for freshly prepared dishes such as phở - noodles with soup, beef or chicken, bánh mì, a baguette filled with pate, cucumber and chili, or ca phe trung - a blend of coffee and egg whites.
