Since Vietnam fully reopened to international tourism in March, the event is expected to help Hanoi boost local tourism and attract more international tourists to the city. Many delegations attending SEA Games 31 expressed their joy in exploring the capital city after their competitions.
SEA Games 31 is expected to pave the way for Hanoi to recover its tourism sector and achieve its target of attracting 1.2-3 million international arrivals this year.
