During this relief work in Hà Tĩnh, leaders of the Red Cross Society also worked at developing a long-term assistance plan for people in flooded areas. Locals are being advised to grow short-term crops in order to ensure food supplies and take advantage of all assistance to start planting again. The local authorities are also advised to distribute donations in time.
