Government to increase support for fishermen, salt farmers
VTV.vn - The Prime Minister has adjusted Decision 772 on providing emergency support for people affected by the mass fish deaths in the central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue.
The new Decision will provide rice to affected households for a maximum of 6 months, and will also extend support to salt farmers. It will allow enterprises, fishing boat owners, and fishing logistics households to borrow bank loans with preferential rates for purchasing and stockpiling seafood from May 5th to July 5th.
