French President meets Vietnamese start-ups

VTV.vn - French President Francois Hollande attended a meeting with the France-Vietnam start-up community today in HCMC on the sidelines of his official visit to Vietnam.

The French State leader visited Linkbynet and met members of French Tech Viet, the community for French start ups in Vietnam. Linkbynet has provided IT services to businesses in HCMC and is the pioneer firm to provide cloud technology for data control in Vietnam.

Hollande then met representatives of French Tech Viet, which now has over 1,500 members and 120 businesses. Their disciplines range across banking, communications, software, gaming, e-government and education.

Hollande's visit has opened up new possibilities for economic cooperation between the two nation's start-up sectors.
