At the meeting with President François Hollande, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan appreciated the French Parliament for ratifying the EU-Vietnam Comprehensive Partnership and Co-operation Agreement; and pushed for the signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement. The French President underlined his support for Vietnam in poverty reduction, transport infrastructure development, climate change mitigation and urban development.
