State President Tran Dai Quang said he hoped the French-speaking international community would boost economic co-operation among members, in addition to promoting language and cultural diversity, and pledged Vietnam's efforts. He said as a responsible member of the international community, Vietnam would continue to send forces to the UN peace-keeping missions and that Vietnam wants help from the Francophone International and each member in this area. The Secretary General said that the investment approach of Vietnam into Africa was fully consistent with the theme of the upcoming 16th Francophone International Summit on shared growth and responsible development.
