The storm has badly damaged crops and triggered landslides, blocking Provincial Highway 433 connecting Hoa Binh city and Da Bac District. Many communes are cut off. Dong Ruong Commune is one of 14 completely isolated areas of Da Bac District. Provincial Highway 433 will have to be reconnected to restore electricity and communications in the area.
