Flood death toll rises to 41

VTV.vn - A total of 41 people have been killed in the floods in the central and Central Highland regions of Vietnam.

15 people are dead and six missing, while 20 people were injured since October 30th alone. 225 houses were washed away and 43,000 houses damaged. Agricultural production was also heavily affected, with 12 hectares of rice damaged; more than 6,000 cattle were reported drowned. Water levels in rivers are decreasing.

The water level in Krong Ana River in Dak Lak Province however still remains dangerously high and areas downstream remain flooded.
