The Chinese youth delegates were taken to Trang An relic site in Ninh Binh on November 8th.
“Before coming here, I researched about it on the Internet and learned that it has a picturesque landscape. Today, while sitting on a river boat, drifting between the Green Mountains, I truly experienced it; it's amazing”, said Xie Lin - Chinese Youth Delegate.
“It's so beautiful, I visited many places, but Trang An is very special, because it's a combination of charming scenery and cultural historical value”, said Zhao Xing - Chinese Youth Delegate.
At this festival, Ninh Binh Province welcomed 200 Chinese youth representatives. The exchanges between the Chinese youth representatives and local youths is organized under the theme "Youth participation in cultural preservation and tourism development.
“We wanted the Chinese youth to visit Tràng An and Bai Dinh Pagoda. We want to promote the image and the landscape of Ninh Binh to promote tourism. And we also want the Chinese youth delegates to understand more about the culture of Vietnam and Ninh Binh in particular”, said Trinh Nhu Lam - Deputy Secretary of Ninh Binh Youth Union.
Where the young delegates have been in recent days was not only an experience of tourism, and cultural and historical knowledge, but also benefited the mutual understanding between the youth of the two countries.
“Vietnamese people are very warm and treat us very well. Festival organizers are also very attentive and make us feel at home”, said Xie Lin.
“When meeting the Chinese youth, I see that they are very confident, energetic and curious to learn. That is why we want to discuss with them more so that they learn more about Vietnam”, said Dinh Thi Hong Loan - Vietnamese Youth Delegate.
In the framework of the 3rd China Vietnam Youth Festival, the Chinese youths were engaged in exchanges under three main themes, all related to cultural tourism development, economic development and environmental protection, and sustainable development.
