After receiving the ship’s call for help, the Vietnam MRCC co-ordinated with Danang Medical Emergency Centre to prepare treatment for the fisherman, while calling for assistance from nearby vessels. According to doctors, the victim suffered a stroke and needed immediate medical attention. The Vietnam MRCC deployed ship SAR412 with a team of doctors on board to transfer the victim to the nearest hospital. He entered hospital on Friday.
