Fire in New Delhi hotel kills 17 people
VTV.vn - A fire swept through a hotel in New Delhi early yesterday, killing 17 people, authorities in the Indian capital announced.
Most of the victims were sleeping when the fire broke out. The dead included a woman and a child who had tried to escape by jumping from a fifth-floor window. The fire service and police officials rescued other 46 people. Many of them were injured and admitted for treatments in hospitals.
