Deputy PM asks for prompt preparations for Long Thanh airport

VTV.vn - At a meeting in Hanoi on February 12th with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam and a joint venture comprised of firms from Japan, France and Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister Trịnh Đình Dũng asked for the feasibility report on the Long Thành International Airport project to be completed and submitted soon so it can be reviewed by the National Assembly in late 2019.

This would ensure that construction can start in 2020. According to the consultation agency, detailed designs of the project will be completed by April 2019. Connectivity methods and investment plans were also proposed. The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the capital of the project should come from private businesses in order to minimize the use of the State budget.
