The reality TV show "Father and Son, Ten Thousand Miles" was inspired by stories such as a 9-year-old girl's trip across Vietnam on the North-South train with her father, a railroad worker; or a 7-year-old "little secretary's" visit to a prison with her father, a police officer.
Through the stories and journeys of each father and son pair, Father and Son, Ten Thousand Miles hopes to convey lessons of humanity, emotional and meaningful messages that will touch the hearts of viewers.
The emotional life of any family in general, and the father-son relationship in particular, is strengthened as a result of these interactions between fathers and sons or daughters. Consequently, the experiential journey of each father-son pair is more than a simple vacation; it is a journey of emotional bonding, which is the main objective of the program.
"Creating connections between parents and children through trips and interesting experiences is one of the effective ways to beautify and enrich children's childhood memories. And this is also the humane purpose that we are pursuing in producing the reality TV show Father and Son, Ten Thousand Miles," said Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Project Director.
Watch the show Father and Son, Ten Thousand Miles, which will be broadcast on VTV3 every week from Friday to Sunday at 7:10 pm, starting July 12. The show will be rebroadcast at 7:10am from Tuesday to Thursday of the following week.
