VTV.vn - Photos and documents of the revolutionary struggle of the Vietnamese people are being displayed at an exhibition, which opened at Hoa Lo Prison in Hanoi, on June 9 under the theme ‘Lighting a Fire’.

The exhibition is among activities commemorating the 77th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947-2024).

The opening ceremony attracted the participation of many war veterans who were detained and imprisoned in Hoa Lo Prison.

Visitors to the event are introduced to documents and photos of the revolutionary movements of the Vietnamese people after the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The exhibits also highlight the life and career of Party and State leaders, such as Ha Huy Tap, Nguyen Van Cu, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, as well as historical sites and memorial houses, in remembrance of national contributors.

The opening ceremony also featured a stage play recalling the last meetings of revolutionists Mai Ngoc Thuyet and Nguyen Van Man, with their families in Hoa Lo Prison in 1933.

The exhibition will run until August 15, in Hoa Lo Prison, 1 Hoa Lo Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
