About 20 kilometres from the centre of Nam Pi Commune, Pa Sap Village is home to 44 households of the Mang ethnic group, and this place is at high risk of landslides. Aware of the situation, the military command of Nam Nhun District has promptly dispatched their forces to help evacuate the locals and their belongings in a timely manner.
Currently in Nam Pi Commune, there are still some villages vulnerable to landslides. Officers and soldiers of the District's military command are still working with the local authorities every day to evacuate the local people and their belongings to safety.
