The event is part of the annual Europe Days 2018 program. Visitors to the event will be entertained with a series of unique activities that showcase the diversity and richness of European cultures from music and art to food and lifestyle.

"Europe Village will display the best we have in Europe, about culture, nature, gastronomy. There will be a lot of activities. There will be booths from member states. The EU delegation also has a booth with a lot of information and activities taking place and in parallel there will be a dense cultural program with a lot of performances on the stage that we'll set up in front of the Ly Thai To square, in the streets and public space around the Europe Village.

We hope to attract many many people, the people of Hanoi, the wider Vietnamese public. If it's a real success this year, we'll try to do it every year and also to extend it onto Ho Chi Minh City and other venues as well," said Ambassador Bruno Angelet, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, at the event’s press briefing on April 26.

The “Europe Village” will bring a true European atmosphere right in the heart of Hanoi, offering visitors enjoyable experience in European food and drink and keep you entertained for whole weekend with unforgettable moments of vibrant dance & spectacular performances.

A photo book “European Cultural Heritage” to be launched within the framework of the program will give readers a chance to enjoy books from Austria, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Spain, Sweden, Italy and Belgium during the European Book Days in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
