The early election followed a decision made by the National Election Council to allow a number of remote, border and island localities to hold polls ahead of the General Election on May 22.
The officers of the 3rd Regional Coast Guard, who are on duty at sea aid they were keen to vote for the right people to represent them in the country’s supreme legislative body and localities. Many were keen to see National Assembly deputies make a significant contribution to the country’s development over the new term.
