The fourth session of the 14th National Assembly Standing Committee concluded in Hanoi on October 18 after six days of working. In its final meeting, the committee members talked about a draft law on amendments and supplements to laws on business and investment, and a draft NA resolution on piloting of e-visas for visitors to Vietnam. Most deputies agreed on the need for a resolution granting e-visas as a way to promote tourism, improve the investment climate and support international co-operation. The committee also suggested the government further improve the draft law on amendments and supplements to laws on business and investment so as to remove any difficulties for businesses and promote the country’s economic development objectives.
