Vietnam works to boost start-ups

VTV.vn - On Sunday in Hanoi, the entrepreneurship programme was officially launched.

The event attracted the participation of hundreds of young entrepreneurs and students from different universities. Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc also addressed the event.

At the event, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc affirmed the importance of entrepreneurship programmes for youth. He also stressed that entrepreneurship is a strategic goal for the country, along with institutional improvement, infrastructure development, and the enhancement of human resources.

The Prime Minister also affirmed that Vietnam has favourable conditions for start-ups, as the government is striving to improve the business environment. Integration and globalisation facilitates the birth of start-ups for young entrepreneurs.

The Prime Minister suggested that Vietnamese firms should pay more attention to potential start-up projects. He also recommended that educational institutions should work with ministries to boost start-ups in the country.
