Deputy Minister Thoa stripped of party position

At a meeting chaired by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on August 8th, the secretariat also proposed the prime minister dismiss Ho Thi Kim Thoa from the post of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. The decision was made after considering the proposal of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission and opinions of concerned agencies and was based on the Politburo regulations regarding disciplinary procedures.
