The revival of the Buon Don Elephant Festival aims to promote the signing of a 5-year memorandum between the People's Committee of Dak Lak province and Animals Asia Foundation on shifting the elephant-riding tourism model into a more animal-friendly tourism model.
This is expected to gradually improve the lives of elephants and the conservation of their populations.
