As of February 2023, total trade turnover between Vietnam and the US reached over 7.8 billion USD, up 3% over the same period last year, of which exports to the US reached 6.9 billion USD, up 6%, and imports from the US reached 947 million USD, down 14%.
After the first 2 months of 2023, bilateral turnover between Vietnam and the U.S. reached 14.9 billion USD, down 20% compared to the same period in 2022, with Vietnam's export turnover to the US reaching more than 13 billion USD, down 21%, and import turnover reaching nearly 1.9 billion USD, down 14%.
Within 2 months, Vietnam saw four items reach a total export value of over 1 billion USD from the U.S. market.
