Dak Lak develops elephant-friendly tourism model

Unlike previous years, this year, elephant-riding services are no longer available. Instead, tourists can participate in many elephant-friendly tourism activities.

The revival of the Buon Don Elephant Festival aims to promote the signing of a 5-year memorandum between the People's Committee of Dak Lak province and Animals Asia Foundation on shifting the elephant-riding tourism model into a more animal-friendly tourism model.

This is expected to gradually improve the lives of elephants and the conservation of their populations.
