As part of the event, an awards ceremony will be held to honour notable Vietnamese brands with the title “Vietnamese Golden Star”, which has been awarded since 2003.
This year’s edition saw the nomination of 294 enterprises throughout the country, which were evaluated based on criteria such as total assets, total revenues, capital, profits, tax payment, return on equity and employees’ income.
According to the organisers, those in the top 200 reached a total revenue of 747 trillion VND (32.7 billion USD), contributing 40 trillion VND (1.7 billion USD) to the budget and creating 450,000 jobs in 2021.
The top ten “Golden Stars” generated a revenue of 554 trillion VND (24.2 billion USD), paid 9 trillion VND (393.5 million USD) in taxes and employed 107,000 workers.
Member enterprises of the AYVE are creating jobs for about three million workers while producing an estimated annual revenue of 686 trillion VND (30 billion USD).
Since its establishment 29 years ago, the association has developed 13 clubs by interests and sectors.
