New flights will operate to Dalat, Cần Thơ and Vinh, while new international routes to Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore will also be established. City authorities have also pledged to offer 224 million USD per year for every new domestic route and 359 million USD for international routes as incentives. By 2020, the airport will service 2.3 million passengers and over 11,000 tonnes of cargo.
