The event is organised by the Hanoi Centre for Employment Service and Hanoi Disabled People’s Association, and offers the disabled a chance to find employment and express their worth.
Đặng Thị Oanh is a last year student in University of Labour and Social Affairs. She will graduate next month and she is looking for a suitable job.
"I found two companies which are recruiting employees for desk work such as typing and online customer contact. I’ll visit those companies to find out more about how they operate. Đinh Trọng Quỳnh is studying graphic design at the Vocational Training Centre in Gia Lâm District. After some direct interviews with employers, he also knows the result.

Esoftflow are one of 13 companies participating in the jobs fair. The firm currently employs 500 people. 60 of them are workers with disabilities. Esoftflow is looking to employ 50 workers with disabilities.
"We want to show other companies that recruiting workers with disabilities also has some potential benefits. Additionally, we also hope that disabled employees and their families know that they can continue to be trained and live an independent life." - Nguyen Thuy Ha, Manager, Human & Resource Division, Esoftflow Company Limited.
"We set up a database to manage the number of workers with disabilities and we divide them into group with different types of disability. The process is followed very closely until the employees find them a suitable job." - Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director, Hanoi Center for Employment Services.
The job fair was organised to connect employees with disabilities and employers. The organisers have also provided free medical examinations for people with disabilities.
