During the meeting with Bulgarian Economic Minister, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc suggested the two countries further strengthen co-operation in trade and investment.
The Prime Minister stressed that Bulgaria and Vietnam need to promote both nations’ business associations to promote co-operation and investment, in order to take advantage of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreements due to be signed in the near future.
Bulgarian Minister Bozidar Lucarsky said the visit had provided him with knowledge of areas the two sides could co-operate in. He said Bulgaria could be a gateway for Vietnamese goods to enter the European market, while Vietnam being a gateway for Bulgarian goods to enter the ASEAN market.
