National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung called for Belgium’s support for the early signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement in 2015 and its recognition of Vietnam’s market economy status.
The Belgian Senate President said Belgium’s Parliament supported EU-Vietnam relations and Belgium had ratified the Partnership and Co-operation Agreement between the EU and Vietnam. She urged continued co-operation at multilateral forums such as the Inter-parliamentary Union, the Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP) Meeting.
