Over the past five years, key activities related to the creation and promotion of literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the armed forces and revolutionary warfare have been implemented following the Party's policies and guidelines on literature and the arts, as well as military regulations, maintaining clear purposes and objectives.
Military cultural and artistic activities have seen numerous innovations in content and form and a large number of high-quality works have been produced and promoted, both in terms of ideological depth and artistic merit. Cultural infrastructure across various levels has been utilised effectively and has proven impactful.
The 2021–2025 period of key military activities in culture, literature, arts, and journalism has become a major cultural series within the armed forces, offering valuable lessons in guiding operations, organising movements, and amplifying social impact. These efforts have made important contributions to the successful implementation of Party and political work in military units and the armed forces, serving as both a goal and a driving force in building military culture and strengthening political resilience within the Army.

Each year, based on major national and military events, different branches of the arts have proactively coordinated with associations under the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations nationwide to organise creative camps, seminars, training courses, writing campaigns, and field trips.
The conference featured presentations of seven out of twenty-one submitted papers, focusing on three key topics.
In his concluding remarks, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To affirmed that the presented papers had effectively addressed the three core issues posed by the conference. Many contributions offered deep insights and thoughtful evaluations on key matters related to leadership, direction, and implementation of major activities over the past five years.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee for key activities in military culture, literature, arts, and journalism for the 2021–2025 period announced commendation decisions from the Ministry of National Defence and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, honouring collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in directing, organising, and participating in these key activities.
