This was the Icelandic leader’s first state visit to Vietnam, offering an opportunity for both countries to increase trade and investment cooperation, as well as promote the future signing of the EU-Vietnam FTA. The two sides discussed ways to promote links between their enterprises, aiming to boost bilateral cooperation in economics, science, technology, and education between the two countries.
