On May 16, nearly 180 delegates from 53 Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) member countries, as well as representatives from international and regional organizations attended a conference on promoting inclusive socio-economic growth in Asia and Europe. The conference, which took place in Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province, is one of Vietnam's initiatives and was approved during the 12th ASEM Summit in Brussels last year.
Participants will get to share experiences and discuss a wide range of issues such as global growth in the 21st century, Asia and Europe's experiences in inclusive development, the role and engagement of parties that promote inclusive socio-economic development, and strengthening cooperation between Asia and Europe with regards to inclusive socio-economic growth.
