At the meeting, ASEAN ministers announced the successful implementation of the ASEAN Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Master plan for 2010 to 2015.
They also adopted the ASEAN ICT Master Plan 2020 with an aim of transforming the ASEAN digital economy for a new stage of development. The establishment of the plan was sealed as a highlight of this year’s meeting. The ASEAN TELMIN 15 initiative on developing the master plan plays a central role in the strategic vision of the member countries.
