This year's CEO Summit is the biggest ever, which saw the participants of leaders of ministries, local, provincial levels, leaders of international organisations as well as nearly 2,000 executives of top national and international corporations.
They discussed a wide range of topics from globalisation, the role of governments and enterprises in boosting the effective use of resources and sustainable economic development, technology for economic growth, and the APEC Vision beyond 2020.
Out of the 10 sessions of the summit, three talked about the challenges of new jobs in the digital age. Therefore, education and training in digital technology play a crucial part to deal with this issue.
