This is the first time representatives of SMEs have participated and spoken at the Vietnam Business Summit. Although this sector has made huge contributions to the economy, it still suffers from inequity when it comes to competition.
Addressing 2,000 business leaders at the Vietnam Business Summit 2017, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stressed that in addition to cutting 5,000 administrative procedures in 2017 to reduce business costs, the government will also be reducing corporate income tax from 20% to 15-17% through the upcoming tax reform roadmap to support the business community.
