Russia sends support for Damrey-affected communities

VTV.vn - Russia has sent over 40 tonnes of goods worth 5 million USD to support victims of Storm Damrey in Vietnam.

The goods, which include tents, dairy products, and canned food, arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa Province early Thursday morning.

According to a statement announced by the Kremlin on November 7th, the humanitarian aid came following President Putin's instructions after discussing with the Russian Prime Minister, emergencies minister, and finance minister the situation in Vietnam, which was devastated by Typhoon Damrey last weekend.
