VTV.vn - After 10 days of excavations, many valuable ancient antiques and architectural imprints from the Champa culture were found in the Dong Mieu area in Phu Hoa district in the south-central coastal province of Phu Yen.

The excavation was conducted by archaeologists from Vietnam's Institute of Archaeology in collaboration with the Phu Yen provincial museum. The discovered antiques, which date back to the fourth century, include a refined-brick linga and a stone yoni as well as the imprints of the architecture of Cham towers. Notably, all parts of the towers were built with brick materials and they're still pretty much intact. The Cham towers in several other localities were made of stone and bricks. The excavated artifacts will be displayed at the Phu Yen provincial museum.
