In order for a province to declare that it's free of African swine fever is the absence of new outbreaks 30 days after eradicating sick pigs.
Hoa Binh province has eradicated a total of 60 infected pigs since March 5th and hasn't experienced any outbreaks.
This has reduced the number of provinces infected by African swine fever to 22.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that it will be cooperating with other provinces to increase poultry and livestock production to compensate for the shortage of pork so that there are no major fluctuations in the pork supply of the country from now until the end of the year.
