The forum aimed to share experiences between the Republic of Korea and Vietnam on gender equality, human resources, developing women's businesses, and cross-cultural marriages. This year's theme was focused on gender impact assessment and building women-friendly cities.
On the sidelines of the forum, cultural exchanges including food, performances and costume try-outs of the two countries took place. The forum is held annually and alternately in the Republic of Korea and Vietnam, and is co-organised by the Korean Women's Development Institute and Vietnam Women's Union.
