The XI National Press Award received 1637 entries from 214 media agencies. All the entries dealt with the most candid issues in 2016, covering all the national socio, politico-economic activities including the maritime issue, the environmental preservation, the agricultural production and construction of the new rural model, fighting corruption.
139 entries qualified for the final round and from them, 95 entries won prizes. The winning entries were those creating social impacts and reflecting national major events, contributing to the national construction and development.
