VTV.vn - 57 new caves have recently been discovered in Phong Nha Kẻ Bàng National Park in the central province of Quảng Bình.

This announcement was made during a meeting between Quảng Bình provincial authorities and British cave experts, led by Howard Limbert. The discovery of the 57 caves was the result of the latest expedition conducted from March to May by the British Cave Research Association. Thus, the number of discovered caves in Quảng Bình Province has gone up to 311. Experts say the newly discovered caves house diverse ecosystems and have astonishing karst features, which will reinforce Quảng Bình’s position as a center for expedition tours in the near future.
