The session will focus on the position and role of high-level government positions. Speaking at the opening session, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said in addition to personnel issues, the National Assembly should also focus on the implementation of the law, review the government’s reports and the budget for the first 6 months of 2016. In the afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee commented on a submission by the Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court on the uniforms of judges and jurors and their qualifications. Participants also listened to a submission by the Head of Supreme People’s Procuracy on allowances for prosecutors. The session will close on Wednesday.
