Tourists often visit Danang to enjoy its clean beach, high quality resorts and good hospitality services.
The city received 400,000 tourists in May, up 6.6% compared to the same period last year.
Foreign tourist numbers also increased by 10.9%, resulting in nearly 45 million US dollars in profits.
Kim Dong Huyn, Korean tourist said: “This is the first time I’ve visited Danang. I’m impressed by the clean beach. I dived and saw coral reefs which were more beautiful than I imagined. I’m sure I’ll return and explore other things here”.
Vu Ngoc Linh, Hanoi tourist said: “I’ve been here several times. This is my favourite tourist destination”.
This year, the management boards of the city’s Sơn Trà Peninsula and other local beaches have also offered more diverse tour services, raised service quality and curbed over-charging.
