VTV.vn - The Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin (VAVA) on December 27 held an award ceremony to honour 33 outstanding press works on AO/dioxin victims and overcoming consequences of toxic chemicals used in the war in Vietnam.

It was part of activities marking the 60th year since the US army began to drop tens of millions of extremely toxic chemicals on various areas across Vietnam.

Nearly 600 entries were submitted to the organising board from January 1 to March 30, 2021, including those compiled by overseas Vietnamese.

Three A prizes were awarded, along with five B, 10 C and 15 consolation prizes.

The award-winning works will be made a book serving as learning material in the future
