Of these 24 cases, 6 are F1 contacts of patient 1929, and 3 are F1 contacts of patient 2003. Most notably, 15 other cases are F1 contacts of 20 cases previously sampled at the airport. According to the Ministry of Health, the outbreak in HCMC can be considered quite complicated since it has not been determined how many cycles of infection have been created due to the outbreak.
Furthermore, cases have been found in 6 districts in the city.
Meanwhile in Hanoi, 2 more COVID-19 cases were detected as of Monday afternoon, bringing the number of patients in Hanoi to 25. The first case was a 28-year-old woman, living in Nam Tu Liem District, friend of patient 1722.
