While speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Tào Thị Thanh Hương informed attendees of the outstanding achievements that have been accomplished through the multifaceted relationship of Vietnam and Singapore.
In 2020, Singapore ranked first among countries and territories with investments in Vietnam, reaching a total of 9 billion USD with 248 newly licensed projects.
The Ambassador affirmed that these proud achievements are thanks to the efforts of the Vietnamese people, including the overseas Vietnamese community.
Also on this occasion, Ambassador Tào Thị Thanh Hương awarded certificates of merit to Vietnamese expatriates for their contributions to the Embassy's activities and the Vietnam-Singapore bilateral relationship.
