Themed ‘Country full of joy’, the event was held at the same time at 150 children’s cultural houses and centres across the country.
The programme featured songs recalling the glorious days during the Great Spring Victory 1975 and praising the patriotism and revolutionary tradition.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation Central Council, said that the programme provides an opportunity for children across the country to express their deep gratitude to predecessors who laid down their lives for the independence and freedom of the country.
