The total corporate income tax paid by these enterprises accounted for 62% of total corporate income tax in 2017. Hanoi and HCM City continue to lead in terms of the number and ratio of corporate income tax paid in the ranking.
Processing and manufacturing enterprises were the largest group, followed by enterprises working in banking and insurance. This is a reflection of the government’s vigorous restructuring of the business investment environment in order to increase efficiency and contribute to the state budget.
